When you register or order products on www.abarn.co.uk you may be asked to provide personal data about yourself, this includes your name, address, email address, and telephone number. When you place an order on our website your IP address is also recorded. We may also collect information about you from messages you send through our website contact form, e-mails or letters you send to Abarn.

Your information will enable Abarn to provide you with access to all parts of our website and to supply the goods you have requested. It will also enable us to bill you and to contact you where necessary concerning your orders.

During the order process your personal data is securely transferred by encryption to one of our payment gateway providers PayPal and Square  as requested from the checkout to process payment. In order to dispatch goods to you, we need to disclose your personal data such as your name, address, email or telephone number to one of the following couriers; these are UK Mail and Royal Mail.

In addition to this we store printed invoices for accounting purposes in a locked filing cabinet in our office; these are kept for a 7 years duration before securely disposing of the information. Any communication containing personal data sent by email or letter will be kept for no longer than is required.

Requesting removal of personal data we hold about you

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you or to request the removal of your personal data. To request this please send an email to sales[at]abarn.co.uk.

Upon a request for either deletion of personal data or request for personal data we hold about you, we will first send verification email to you within 48 hours. You would need to accept this email by clicking on a verification link within the email. Once this is completed the personal data will either sent to you or removed from our server’s database. If verification is still pending after 48 hours or no user account is available we will contact you by email.
